Each three-act episode dramatizes a particular theme through song, adventure, and group conflict resolution. In We Want Toys, Wimzie is obsessed with a particular toy that she's seen on TV. She feels that getting gifts means that she is loved. When she sees Rousso is willing to give up something very special in order not to disappoint her, she learns that love can be shown in many different ways.
